We are a community of wellness professionals dedicated to creating a safe, healing & accessible environment for individuals to transform challenges into opportunities for growth through Brain & Body-based practices that honor the Oneness of all. Move Well Collective Physical Therapy Clinic & Wellness Studio functions as a yoga studio, aerial fitness gym, Pilates & dance studio, as well as a flexible space for hosting health-related education, workshops, & events to promote movement & wellness for our community in Charleston and online. Our Biopsychosocial Approach:

  • Engaging in movement addresses biomechanical issues, improves oxygenated blood flow to the Body and Brain and nourishes the nervous system from the Bottom-Up (Body to the Brain.)

  • Mindfulness practices and breathing stimulate the Brain and the vagus nerve, shifting patterns from both Top-Down and Bottom-Up (Brain influencing Body, Body influencing Brain.)

  • Being supported by a community calms the nervous system, facilitating the body’s natural restorative processes. Feeling part of something greater than yourself stimulates oxytocin, known to relieve stress, reduce fear, decrease inflammation and increase restorative and growth mechanisms.

Regular movement supports not only physical health but also mental clarity & emotional well-being, helping to reduce stress and inflammation, boost mood & reduce pain via endogenous analgesics & promote longevity. Whether you're recovering from injury, managing a chronic condition, or striving to perform better in sports, work, or daily life, our expert-guided programs help you move better, feel better & live better at any age or stage of your journey.

We believe movement is for every body. That’s why we’ve chosen a space that, while in a historic city with ADA exemptions, has a wheelchair-accessible entrance. If you need accommodations, please call (843) 580-2005 before your visit so we can ensure easy access through our back entrance.

  • Our restroom is gender-neutral & wheelchair-accessible.

  • Pelvic PT or Health Coaching services are available for all humans with pelvic floors (that means everyone!), regardless of gender identity, sexual identity, or age. Minors or those unable to make medical decisions must have a legal guardian present.

Each of our instructors, coaches and therapists have gone through extensive training, specializing in a variety of different modalities. We provide guidance for all levels of ability and all types of bodies. We support your body autonomy and offer options so that you can decide what feels best for you. Our team of life-long-learners is always growing in their ability to be:

  • Trauma-informed

  • Evidence-based

  • Person-centered (we find an exercise/technique that works for you, instead of forcing you to to do a routine that “should” work for your body but just doesn’t.)

  • Inclusive, welcoming, curious and willing to learn

  • Willing to admit that we don’t know everything! You will always be the foremost expert on you. We value your feedback and honor your body’s wisdom.
